Terms & Conditions

Our service to you:

• To provide swimming lessons using ASA qualified swimming teachers
• Fully trained swimming teachers will work in and out of the water (Stage 1 & 2) teaching the pupils to focus on achieving optimum results by helping support the body if required and aiding in correct stroke technique through demonstration and guidance.
• To provide, whenever possible, a temporary cover teacher in the event of any absence of the regular teachers failing this lessons will be cancelled as a result & will be rescheduled during the same term (depending on pool availability) or credited in the following term.
• To assess students on a continual basis using Aqua Splash continual assessment, with ASA badges and certificates.
• Aqua Splash will endeavour to maintain a maximum class size of 8 children  (stages 1-4) and a class size of 10 children (stages 5-10) but Aqua Splash reserves the right to change the size and structure of swimming classes without notice.   
• A Teacher and Assistant combination is not always guaranteed. Swimming days and times are not guaranteed each term. Aqua Splash prides itself on our water-based tuition but cannot always guarantee this service in each class.

• Parent/Guardian must not approach poolside unless asked to do so by a child's Teacher
• Parent/Guardian must ensure all children are kept away from poolside until their teacher calls them forward for their lesson.
• Parent/Guardian must not allow any child, including siblings to walk/play around the perimeter of the pool.
• Parent/Guardian must not assist in the teaching of a child during a lesson.
• Parent/Guardian must ensure that swimmers are changed in the correct changing rooms provided, not poolside.
• Parent/Guardian must remain on the premises whilst their child is in lessons (in the event of an evacuation).
• Parent/Guardian must ensure that their child has been toileted befor lessons.

Payments of swimming fees & on line purchases:

• All prices are subject to change without prior notice. All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer a transaction charge is also added for this method of payment. We accept all major debit & credit cards. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your order. No payments will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder. Payment must be made by the re enrolment due date to ensure swimming places are secured. Due to insurance purposes Aqua Splash Swim School cannot allow anyone to swim unless all fees are up to date.

• Payment made via standing orders is the responsibility of the customer to set up this payment method. Aqua Splash will provide all bank account information to enable this option to be set up. Standing Orders are set up as a weekly payment over a 10-week period (with equal payments each week).
• Conformation of standing order set up from customers bank / building society befor the start of the first lesson
• This payment option is only available for one to one, two to one lessons & Hydrotherapy hire services.

• Aqua Splash Swim School does not offer refunds on cancellations of registration fees.
• No refunds are available for absence through sickness or holiday.
• A notice period of two weeks should be given if not re-enrolling to enable Aqua Splash to maintain class structure and continuity.
• In the event of a lesson cancellation due to teacher sickness, mechanical failure or any other reason out of Aqua Splash swim school control a credit will be given off the following terms course fees. 
• Please note – No financial refund will be given.

Online Shop, Delivery & Returns

Delivery

• we use Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery; we aim to dispatch your order within 48 hours of your order acknowledgment and are delivered within 2/3days.
• We stock most merchandise shown on our shop. However if you require a specialist product that is highlighted (specialist) please allow up to 10-working days from your order acknowledgment date.
• Orders may be delayed due to stock availability new stock may take up to 14-working days to come from our suppliers, we will advise you via telephone or email if this delays your order.

• If you are not completely satisfied with you purchase, simply contact our office and we will forward our office address to allow you to return any items.
• Returning items must be sent within 15-days of receipt (if posting please send via recorded delivery to ensure proof of delivery).
• Products must still be in original packaging and in a resalable condition.(unfortuantly optical swimming goggles are non refundale)
• Receipt from your online purchase must also be sent with your return, if no receipt of purchase only an exchange will be given. If a receipt is given we will offer a full refund or an exchange.

• We will not be liable for non-performances of our obligations caused or resulting from commercial disputes or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the company such as an act of God, riots, civil commotion, flood, fire and legislation.
• If by reason of such circumstances it shall become impossible within a reasonable time for the company to wholly or partly supply the items or service ordered, then the customer's liability will be limited to the value of the items or service already supplied together with any associated delivery charges.

• Prices and specifications are checked and confirmed.
• While every effort will be made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions.
• We reserve the right to alter prices and specifications without notice.

• Full Public Liability insurance is held by Aqua Splash, which covers all swimmers while attending their lessons. This does not extend further than the pool / changing rooms. Beyond this area any accidents that occur must be notified to the appropriate body and the matter taken up with them.

• Parent/Guardian must ensure that swimmers are changed in the correct changing rooms provided. Changing on poolside is strictly prohibited. Children of 7 yrs and above must change in the correct changing room according to their gender.

• The contents of this site and other publications from Aqua Splash are owned or licensed to Aqua Splash or are used with permission by the owner.

• Due to The Child Protection Act we cannot and do not allow any photography or filming in or around the swimming pools unless fully authorised by Aqua Splash Swim School.  We will make the necessary arrangements for a full signed agreement from parents concerned.
• if anyone is found to be taking pictures or filming we will ask for them to stop immediately and may ask for the photos/film to be destroyed.

• Our waiting list is 2 – 3 academic school terms from the date you apply, for all of our teaching services.

• Pool parties are 1-hour duration; room hire for food is also available.  Payment in FULL on booking to secure your party day & date.
• Pool Party price - £57.75
• Room Hire - £19.95

• Refer a friend to our swim school & you will receive 5% discount off your course fees when your referred friend starts as an active swimmer, 5% will be deducted from your course fees the following term.
• Referer must stay as an active swimmer the following term to receive discount on course fees.
• Discount will be exempt to any other parties.
• 2.5% will be deducted off one to one and two to one lessons.

• Cancellation of a session by the client due to sickness or holidays will not be refunded and will still be charged*.
• Sessions cancelled by Aqua Splash will be either re scheduled (depending on pool availability) or credited.
• * As per Mayfield Hydrotherapy Pool Hire agreement.
• All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Patient Referral Service

• Patients can self refer or be referred by their specialist or G.P. a referral form is available to down load on our website.

Invoicing

• Invoices come with a 30-day payment terms.
• Any invoice which fails to be paid within the 30-day period will incur a 3% charge per day for late payment until invoice is paid in full.
