About Us

Aqua Splash Swim School Ltd is a family run business, which was established in 2004, with over 11 years experience in the leisure industry. Since then we have continued to build a good reputation for offering quality swimming lessons, in a friendly and safe environment.

My experience and passion for swimming has never changed since a young age, so teaching swimming and passing on my skills and knowledge was a natural progression for me. Since then I have gained experience developing, teaching and managing swimming programmes which I extremely enjoy.

Our aim is to produce confident and safe swimmers with a good standard of stroke and to equip them with the skills required to safely enjoy water based activities - ‘Enjoying & Achieving’

We also aim to provide each pupil with the attention and dedication required to make learning to swim both an enjoyable and positive experience.

We operate our lessons from three venues:

• Mayfield School Hydrotherapy pool on the outskirts of Whitehaven;
• St Bees School swimming Pool in St Bees &;
• Egremont Swimming Pool (Adult one to one lessons, only.)

Swimming & Teaching Services

At Aqua Splash Swim School we offer a teaching service to suit your child or even you, as an adult wishing to learn to swim.

We offer the following swimming courses and lessons:

• Initial Swimming Assessment service.
• Swim a Song lessons (4 - 18 months)
• Adult & Child lessons ( 18 months - 31/2 years)
• Children’s Group Lessons (organised by swimming ability with mixed age ranges)
• Distance Swimming (Approx twice per term, within our group lessons, stages 5-7)
• Rookie Lifeguard (Bronze,Silver & Gold Awards)
• Pre Triathalon training, (stamina work, starts & turns, stroke technique) 
• Group, one to one & two to one crash courses
• One to One Lessons
• Two to One Lessons.

Licensed Swimming Teachers

All Aqua Splash Swim School Ltd's Courses and Lessons are carried out by ASA Licensed swimming teachers, who are also National Pool Lifeguard Qualified & Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checked.

Our teachers also attend regular C.P.D courses to ensure we continue to offer a high level of service to all our clients.
