Welcome to Aqua Splash Swim School Ltd. We are a privately run swimming school who offer a high level of swimming teaching; we operate our swimming lessons from two venues, Mayfield School Hydrotherapy pool on the outskirts of Whitehaven where all non-swimmers & Beginners will begin in their swimming development & St Bees School swimming Pool in St Bees where Improvers & Advanced swimmers will continue.
ASA swimming teachers teach our lessons, who are also National Pool Lifeguard Qualified & Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checked, our teachers attend regular C.P.D courses to ensure we offer a high level of service.
Aqua Splash has the right lesson to suit your child or even you, as an adult wishing to learn to swim, starting with our Foundation stage, Adult & Child lessons, children’s group lessons or even one to one & two to one lessons. Our group lessons are organised by swimming ability with mixed age ranges.

All our swimming lessons run parallel with school academic terms, with
Three enrolments each year, all enrolments are at the end of each school term in, Easter, Summer & Christmas holidays.
Aqua Splash swim school also boast one of the shortest waiting lists in the area with a waiting time of up to two academic school terms from the date you apply, which means your child will start to learn to swim sooner rather than later.
Assessment Service
We also offer a free assessment service, to assess your Childs stage of swimming development before starting as an active swimmer in our swim school, this option is available on our waiting list application forms online, or if you wish to apply by phone then let us know & we will arrange your child's assessment day & time within 48 hours subject to swimming pool availability.
Our aim is to produce confident safe swimmers with a good standard of stroke and to equip them with the skills required to enjoy water based activities.
Aqua Splash Swim School are also used by Sure Start for teaching services & Footsteps for hydrotherapy hire.

Customer Notice
St Bees Swimming Pool Update
We are awaiting confirmation of a re- opening date of the St Bees swimming pool from the schools management, once a date has been given you will receive a letter updating you on all relevant information for your child’s return to swim school.
On your child’s return they will under go a re assessment which will allow us to place your child in an appropriate stage of swimming development of the new 2007 edition NPTS (National Plan for Teaching Swimming) all information on the new 2007 edition NPTS will be available on your return, brief information is also available on our website on the awards page including the new syllabus.
